About me

Karina Mazur

Life & Health Executive Consultant

In my work I combine a systemic approach, psychology and coaching, bodywork and modern holistic tools that draw on bioenergetics and frequency and information technologies.

Karina Mazur

International business projects taught me to make decisions under uncertainty, to see the system as a whole and to turn ideas into concrete results.

For over twenty years I have been studying psychological, body-oriented and complementary approaches. My training includes yoga therapy, working with emotional reactions, Australian Bush Flower Essences, the biomagnetic method, Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique, microkinesitherapy and more.

Today I bring this experience together in one integrated way of working. I don’t tie a client to a single method. First it is important to understand the goal, the context and the result you are aiming for, and only then to choose the tools that logically suit that person.

My strength is the ability to quickly see the structure of a complex situation: contradictions between goals and actions, recurring patterns, hidden emotional load and the influence of lifestyle on decisions. At the same time I stay focused on practical results and on the client’s responsibility for their own choices.

Professional path

Where I come from

My professional path began in economics, management and business consulting. I hold a master’s degree in economics, have training in management psychology, facilitation and group work, and certifications in a number of body-oriented and complementary methods.

Over more than 20 years of practice I have developed a systemic approach that lets me see a person and their situation as a whole – through the connections between goals, decisions, emotions, physical state and lifestyle.

I don’t use one-size-fits-all schemes: first I identify the essence of your goal and the desired result, then I choose the most suitable tools. My job is to give you clarity, structure and professional support so that changes are concrete and work in real life.

I am the only certified BackMitra instructor in the Czech Republic – see the official list of BackMitra instructors.

Personally

A little about me as a person

I am an entrepreneur and a working mother of four, so “multitasking” describes my lifestyle well. I have been through two big relocations, many years in Spain and now Prague. Such experience teaches you to adapt, find yourself in new circumstances and understand that people from different countries sometimes have completely different ideas of what is “normal”. I speak Russian, Czech, English and Spanish – sometimes all in one day.

I love nature, mountains, the ocean and everything that really puts the body to work: the climbing wall, long mountain hikes, via ferratas. After a lot of intellectual work, I regularly need to push myself physically so much that by the evening I don’t want to figure anything out – just take a shower and fall into bed.

Another great love of mine is music. I love live concerts and will happily travel to another country if a favourite singer, musician or orchestra is performing there.

In my free time I read, learn and explore everything to do with psychology, the brain, health, technology and quantum physics. I enjoy connecting ideas from different fields and putting them into practice – beautiful theories alone don’t interest me much. Spirituality and my connection with the Creator are an important part of my life: I meditate a lot and practise yoga.

I use all the methods I work with professionally on myself and my own life. It is important for me to keep growing, ask myself uncomfortable questions and change my beliefs when life shows they no longer work.

Otherwise I try to keep a balance between family, work, growth, movement, nature, music and time alone. I value freedom, sincerity, curiosity and a sense of humour – especially the ability not to take my life too seriously now and then.
